Shivpuri District is a district of Madhya Pradesh state of India. The town of Shivpuri is the district headquarters.Saharia is a little-known tribe in India. The Saharia are found mainly in Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri and Guna districts of Madhya Pradesh and parts of Rajasthan .The Sahariyas are expert woodsmen and forest produce gatherers. They are particularly skilled in making catechu from khair trees.
